What does the Hinkelshof have to offer?
Our three guest rooms are rented out together with a large bathroom and the front lounge. The Hinkelshof has a small camping area with showers, toilets and electricity included. The rear seminar room, which includes a professional kitchen, is rented out separately.
– The front dining area, with the wooden table in front of it, is for the exclusive use of guests staying in the holiday flat.
– The courtyard, playground, tables and chairs are available for everyone to use.
– The backyard is for private use.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Holiday flat:
Check-in: 2.00 pm – 7.00 pm
Check-out: by 10.00 am
Camping:
Check-in: 2.00 pm – 7.00 pm
Check-out: by 11.00 am
When checking out, please dispose of your rubbish and, for holiday rooms, strip the beds.
Run the dishwasher at 70 degrees, even if it isn’t full.

Where can I park and charge my electric car?
There is a large car park directly to the left of the main building. You can use it free of charge.
There are two options for electric cars:
– there is a public charging point next to the fire station
– please speak to us and you can charge your car at our wallbox (50 cents per kWh).
Where can you go shopping?
– Supermarket in the village—15-minute walk
– Butcher shop in the village—10-minute walk
– Bakery in the village—17-minute walk
– On Saturdays around 12:00 p.m., a bakery truck often stops in front of the parking lot
Large supermarkets are located in: Neuerburg, Irrel, Echternach, Diekirch…

Where can I find the swimming pool’s hours?

Tip: If you’re staying here for a while, you can also buy weekly passes. They’re cheaper, and you can come and go as you please.
What’s the situation with buses in Körperich?
There’s a regular bus service between Bitburg (Germany) and Vianden (Luxembourg); you can catch it at the church or near the Edeka supermarket.

Tip: When you’re in Vianden, you can use public transportation in Luxembourg for free.

Can the two bicycles in the courtyard be rented?
Yes, you’re welcome to use the two bicycles parked next to the bakery for free.
Can I borrow the grill in the courtyard?
Yes, you’re welcome to use it, but please ask first to make sure no one else needs it.
Please clean the grill the next day!

What about the animals?
Cats, chickens and a mini pig live at the Hinkelshof.
Please do not feed the animals!!
The cats are very friendly, and if you’d like, you can bring them into the lounge for a while—just be sure to take them back outside afterward. They are not allowed in the guest rooms.
You can see Jacky and the chickens from the campground, back in the pen. Please don’t feed them—this is important because Jacky isn’t allowed to eat everything.

How do you operate the pellet stove in the living room?
Not at all—it works completely automatically. If you’d like to change the temperature or the times it turns on, just send me a message.

Where can I find the light switches in the lounge?
They’re on the beam to the left of the counter. You’ll also find the light switch there to turn on the wall lights in the courtyard.
Please remember to turn off the lights when they are not needed.

Which pitch can I choose when I check in?
First of all, a warm welcome to our mini-campsite 🙂
Please find a pitch yourself; if a pitch is already taken, you’ll be able to tell because the guests will have left something there. Electricity and toilet facilities are included in the price.
For the mini-campground:
How much does a spot on the campground lawn cost?
Normally, guests book via Campspace, in which case all payments have already been made.
If you’d like, you can pay here:
1 Platz: 30€ inkl. 2 Personen pro Nacht, zuzüglich je weitere Person ab 2 Jahren: 5€ pro Nacht bis insgesamt maximal 4 Personen pro Platz.
Plus a €1 tourist tax for the municipality of Körperich per person (aged 14 and over), per night.
Payments can be made via the blue QR code using a credit card or other digital payment providers, or via the second QR code using Wero (the QR codes are clickable).
For the mini-campsite:
What do you need to bear in mind?
– Please sort your rubbish properly, otherwise our general waste bin will fill up too quickly!
– Do not feed the animals!
– The lounge is for room guests only.
– The lawn behind the house is for private use.
– Please do not use fire pits or barbecues on the campsite that might burn the grass.
– The courtyard is available for communal use; please tidy up after yourselves.
– The playground is also available for use; here too, please tidy up afterwards and close the sandpit.
– Please respect the quiet hours between 07:00 and 22:00; this applies to everyone.
